• Polarizer is inexpensive and provides a large effective diameter.
• It is used for simple polarization experiments such as photoelastic experiments and for adjusting the amount of illumination light.
• If you use two polarizers, you can perform various polarization experiments (Parallel Nicole, Cross Nicole).
• By inserting two polarizers into a light source and changing the direction of the polarization axis of each polarizer, you can adjust the amount of light with a wide dynamic range.
• Because the polarizer is thin and lightweight, it can be inserted into narrow gaps in the optical path of the optical system.
• It can also be used in the sensitive color method using white light because it provides extinction characteristics over a wide range of visible light.
• It's a thin plastic sheet, so it won't get damaged even if you drop it.
• Plastic sheets can be cut into any shape with a cutter.
• Polarization filters (SPF) and Grantomson prisms (GTPB/GTPC) with high extinction ratios are also available.

• * The extinction ratio varies with the wavelength, so violet light may be observed when the light is extinguished.
• * Protective sheets are attached to both sides of the polarizer to prevent scratches.
• * Be sure to remove the protective sheet before use.
