• What is a diaphragm?
• A diaphragm is a thin PVC membrane that is attached to the grommet "hole." Enclose the small wire tightly for guidance and protection.　Molded holes allow cables to be pulled in and out. This diaphragm fits snugly around the wire and provides the dust seal necessary for many electrical installations.
• Where are diaphragm grommets used? • RS Pro PVC grommets are suitable for use with metal switch boxes. Most metal switch boxes are suitable for disconnected disks. The wire is then threaded through the hole and supported by the surrounding diaphragm.　Grommets allow the wire to pass through the hole without touching the metal box. The grommet also protects the wire.
• Feature: Prevents dust from accumulating around perforated diaphragm wire through black PVC wire. Molded holes
