• Cat6 Patch Cable
• About Cat6 Cable
• Cat6 cable stands for Category 6 cable. This type of cable is a standardized twisted-pair cable for the physical layer of a network, such as Ethernet.
• Typical Applications
• Cat6 cables have strict specifications due to crosstalk and system noise. The RS Pro Cat6 long patch cable is ideal for network connections between devices. Kink protection and flexibility make this cable suitable for tight bends.
• Features and Benefits: These Cat6 cables are double-twisted pair cables shielded with aluminum laminate foil. These cables have an RJ-45 plug and click lock. RS Pro is available in a variety of lengths and colors for these Cat6 cables. It also has a molded kink for added durability and protection. The plug has gold-plated contacts and is ready to use.
• Handling Precautions
• When storing a patch lead, lightly wrap the cable so that the wire bends naturally. When not in use, store the cable in a protective case to protect the ends of the connector from dust and dirt.
