• An ingenious pocket device for detecting the presence of 50 Hz AC voltage.　These products are battery-powered pence-tile units, and the nylon tip glows red when voltage is detected.　There is no contact or current required to operate this unit.　Ideal for finding broken power cables, checking plug wiring, checking fuses, identifying current and neutral wires, identifying current cables in junction boxes, finding faulty switches, locating faulty lamps in series, and many other applications.
• 230 V: 220 → 400 V ac range (based on ground potential) Sensitivity is optimized to detect the main voltage of 230 V/50 Hz.
• 110 V: 90 to 400 V ac range (based on ground potential) Sensitivity is optimized to detect 110 V/50 Hz voltage used in factories and other industrial applications.
