• TE Connectivity 0.5 mm FPC Connector
• The 0.5 mm pitch FFC/FPC connector is ideal if the standard wire-to-board connector is too large for routing signals between devices. These 0.5 mm FFC/FPC connectors use actuators to secure the FPC with ZIF (0 insertion and removal force). ZIF connectors provide excellent retention in vibrating environments with low contact wear and high number of useful insertions and removals. These 0.5 mm FPC connectors have slide-lock actuators that insert the FPC into the connector with the actuators open and are securely engaged when the actuators are closed. Mounting tools are not required. The solder tab on the connector allows the connector to be securely fastened to the board. These 0.5 mm FPC connectors are available in vertical and light angle mounting configurations with top or bottom contacts.
