• Cross movement holder for optical fiber machined with SMA connector.
• Use to collimate light from a fiber or to introduce light into a fiber (MMF), such as a compact spectrometer.
• You can choose from two types: a type of screw with simple adjustment (FOP-SMA) and a type of coarse fine adjustment (FOP-DM-SMA).
• There is a FOP-1 SMA with only a cross motion adjustment mechanism and a FOP-2 SMA with a fiber tilt adjustment mechanism that can precisely adjust the center of the collimated beam brightness distribution.
• The SMA receptacle in the SMA-type optical fiber holder can be removed and replaced with a fiber adapter for plain fiber (MFH-ADP).
• Cross movement holders for FC connector (FOP) and for plain fiber (MFH) are also available.
• * If the optical fiber is inserted or removed, the holder adjustment may move.
• * When the optical fiber is reinserted, the adjustment mechanism of the holder needs to be adjusted again.
• * The SMA connector has a short nut, so it is difficult to fasten it to the end with your finger.
• * Use a narrow tip tool such as a radio pliers for fastening or removing.
