• Perrin Brocker Prism is a kind of Brewster Dispersion Prism, which has a characteristic of emitting at right angles to the direction of incidence.
• When the YAG laser is injected at the Brewster angle, the fundamental wave (1064 nm) and the double wave (532 nm) can be separated.
• Because the Brewster angle and critical angle are used, there is no loss due to reflection, resulting in high transmittance.
• The Perambrocka prism has no coating and can be used with high-energy pulsed lasers.
• Use to match the angle at which the light intensity of the fundamental (invisible) or double (green) YAG beam reflected at the prism incidence plane is minimized (Brewster angle).
• Convert the polarization direction of the laser beam so that it is parallel to the bottom of the prism.
• It can also be used for the spectroscopy of Ar laser with multi-wavelength oscillation.
• * The emission beam of the ultraviolet wavelength is not reflected because it deviates from the Brewster angle.
