• A right-angle prism can be used as a mirror substitute.
• Prisms can stand on their own without special holders and can be installed in a variety of ways, making them useful for miniaturizing devices.
• In addition, the angular accuracy and surface accuracy of the prism are very high, and it is possible to use the prism directly bonded to the machined parts.
• RPB1~3 uses slope reflections as a substitute for mirrors.
• RPB1 uses the critical angle of the prism for the reflection of the slope and is coated with an anti-reflection film on the two surfaces where light enters and exits the prism, RPB2 is coated with a reflection film (Al+MgF2) on the slope so that it can be used even at an incident angle below the critical angle, and RPB3 does not allow light to enter the prism and is reflected on the slope surface.
