• It is used for polarization experiments using communication LD.
• Because it is made of glass, it is resistant to scratches and corrosion and has excellent durability.
• At infrared wavelengths, absorption is small and high transmittance is obtained.
• Therefore, it can also be used for high-power lasers.
• Since the element is fixed to the frame, it can be easily attached to the holder.
• Near-infrared polarizing filter (SPFN) with large effective diameter is also available.
• * Because this is a polarizer for infrared, most light is absorbed by visible light.
• Use of a wavelength other than the applicable wavelength will result in a poor extinction ratio.
