The STRADA WHISPER connector can also be accelerated to 56 Gbit/s for future upgrades without costly backplane or midplane redesigns. These STRADA WHISPER high-speed backplane header and receptacle connectors operate with low noise, low insertion loss, and low skew, providing design flexibility. The design of these high-speed backplane connectors uses EON (eye-of-needle) technology, and the connector footprint is designed to reduce crosstalk. The signal pins on the STRADA WHISPER backplane connector are protected by a C-shaped 360 ground shield that enhances signal quality.
