• ACS723 Breakout Board
• ACS723 is a Hall effect current sensor made by Allegro MicroSystems. The voltage corresponding to the AC/DC current flowing through the hole connected to the IP+/IP- pin on this board is output. The advantage of using Hall effect sensors is that the circuit being sensed and the circuit reading the sensor are electrically separated.
• The current sensor breakout board can measure DC and AC currents up to 5 A and has a basic sensitivity of 400 mV/A.
• The analog output of the ACS723 can be up to 80 kHz, but this board is set to 20 kHz to reduce noise when d at high gain. The full bandwidth of 80 kHz can be recovered by closing the JP1 (bandwidth selection) jumper on the back of the board.

• *The ACS723 can insulate up to 2.4 kV (RMS), but the board is not designed for these high voltages.
